Vetrofond

Italian Art Glass COE 104 sold in ~30cm lengths. Vetrofond Transparents and Opaques are compatible with Effetre (previously called Moretti) glass as they are both manufactured initially by the Moretti family in Murano, Italy. Vetrofond is owned by Mr. Carlo Moretti and manufactures a similar range to Effetre and also produces niche products such as the much sought after limited edition ODD Lots which occur from time to time. I personally love Odd Colours , as it broadens my colour palette !


I use and recommend Vetrofond clear , eg. for my encased lampwork floral beads. For best results,clear glass should be worked in the cooler part of the flame, it is slower but the result is worth it ! If you have dual fuel torch, increase the oxygen output to give you a slightly oxidising flame.
